License Search Help
Site Based Search

The Site Based License Search allows you to search for any site based application. Choose from a range of search criteria, which include all the fields available in ULS Advanced License Search (see Advanced License Search Help for more information). The following criteria are available:

Site Based

Service Group and Radio Service Code
Each wireless service licensed within The Universal Licensing System (ULS) is part of a group of services under FCC rules.

Site Based License Search allows you to search site based licenses within a selected service group or across service groups.

To search within a service group, choose one of the service groups listed in the pull-down menu. All the radio service codes that belong to the service group you selected will display in the Radio Service Code menu. To narrow your search, select one or more radio service codes, holding down the Control key to make multiple selections.

To search by radio service code across service groups, leave the Service Group menu selection at the default value of All, and select one or more codes from the Radio Service Codes menu, holding down the Control key to make multiple selections.

Station Class
The alpha-numeric code that identifies the transmitter class and description. The station class codes and descriptions are listed in the pull-down menu.

Antenna Structure Registration (ASR) Number
A unique 7-digit number issued by the FCC during the registration process that uniquely identifies an antenna structure. The ASR number is used in all filings related to the structure.

Frequencies

Select All Frequencies, an exact frequency in megahertz, or a range of frequencies in megahertz.

Note: Frequencies in a Terminated status are not retrieved when searching by Frequency.
