ULS Geographic Search can be accessed as
a separate search screen from the ULS License Search home
page, or you may make a search geographical by selecting the
GeoSearch button from the ULS Advanced License Search, Market-Based
Search, Site-Based Search, and Buildout Deadline search.
Geographic Search Page
Choose one of three types of geographic searches:
- State/County
You may search by state, county, or both. Use the state
list to filter the list of counties. Note: Searching on
multiple states or counties may result in slower search
results.
- Address
Search by a radius (in kilometers or miles) around a center
point you specify by Street and either City and State or
ZIP Code.
Note:Entering
a radius greater than 200 miles may result in slow response
time and is not recommended.
- Coordinates
Search a radius around a point specified by latitude and
longitude using the NAD 83 coordinates (click the link provided
to convert from NAD 27 if necessary).
Note:
To search for multiple states or counties, hold down the
control key as you click on each selection. The same is
true if you were looking for multiple counties within
a state. For example, if you would like to search the
Washington, DC, metropolitan area, select Maryland and
Virginia, and then select the applicable counties.
Frequencies
Narrow one of the above searches by adding frequency criteria.
Select Any Frequency, an exact frequency (in megahertz),
or a range of frequencies (in megahertz.)
Note:
Frequencies in a Terminated status are not retrieved when
searching by Frequency.
